“Talent Management: Hiring and Keeping Highly Motivated Employees”
Presented by Norm Bobay, President of hireMAX
Please plan to join us for “Talent Management – Hiring and Keeping Highly Motivated Employees” on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at 11:45 AM at our new location of the Fort Worth office of Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP located in the Carter Burgess Plaza in the heart of downtown.
Our speaker is Norm Bobay, President of hireMAX.
Norm will lead a discussion for business owners who want to strengthen their companies by building a superior work environment that attracts and retains the best and the brightest.
Talent Management is a timely look at the challenges that owners face in building a corporate culture that attracts top-flight job candidates and keeps dedicated staff performing at the highest levels. Norm offers you an entertaining and information-filled look at the corporate and personal qualities that build long-term success. Through anecdotes and case histories, he also shows how these qualities make or break a firm by silently shaping its environment and employee attitudes.
Attendees learn how to quickly spot and solve trouble areas in their firms and to enhance their corporate strengths and advantages.
The following potential problem areas and solutions are explored:
* Have you developed the success criteria for each job?
* Do you recruit only superior performers? Or are you willing to accept less?
* Do you know your turnover and lost engagement costs and how easy they are to measure?
* Are you willing to pay above-average wages to attract and keep above-average people because you want to instead of because you have to?
* Do you know how important effective “onboarding” is to new employees and how it affects retention?
* Do you coach your personnel for maximum performance or do you manage them to the best of your limits?
* Do you believe that ALL employees have the intelligence and will to excel? Are you willing to give them a chance to prove it?
REGISTER HERE by July 30, 2010 – there is not a fee to attend this event.
